Description

The Wenzel shock tool helps reduce bit vibration without lifting the bit from its point of contact. Results include better boreholes, increased ROP and extended life of BHA equipment.

When drilling through hard rock formations and/or using aggressive hammer drilling tools, additional vibration can occur and cause excessive stress to drill bits.

When used in tandem with axial anti-friction tools, our shock tool produces an axial oscillation that spreads vibration along the drill string.

Strategic placement of the shock tool with an anti-friction tool will reduce drag along the well bore, improving weight transfer to bit, increasing ROP and extending capability for longer horizontal wells.

The shock tool will also help you protect and ensure accuracy from your expensive and calibrated measurement-while-drilling (MWD) tool by reducing axial vibration.
