Description

For safe handling and predictable jarring action during operation, the Wenzel double-acting hydraulic mechanical (HMDA) jar provides effective jarring action in both directions. The HMDA is designed to deliver a hydraulic delay when jarring in both the up and down directions.

What makes this jar different is the mechanical latch that keeps the jar locked in the neutral position. This latch eliminates unexpected jarring during operation and handling--and keeps people safe.

The HMDA, like all other Wenzel jars, is designed without housing ports to the annulus. Such ports can restrict jar stroke, impact strength and seal integrity.

We have also minimized the number of oil chambers, which in turn reduces the seals required and increases jar reliability.
